Dr.Gopinath Rao was in the early 1970’s one of the few registered medical practitioner of hospete serving many patients in and around of hospete. He had vision to extended healthcare services to various fields to people of his hometown. This dream project was brought into reality with establishment of Sripathi Nursing Home in railway station road by his son Dr.Raghavendra Rao, a practitioner & family physician by profession in the year of 1986.
This was the first nursing home in hospete catering services to all type of patients. Further it also had the privilege of having Dr.MR Rajeshwari, the first qualified gynecologist in hospete, who conducted maximum deliveries and gynecological producers adding to name & fame.
There were ortho, ENT, gen surgeries in years to come few additional services in the field of general surgery. Onco surgery, emergency & ICU began with joining of their son Dr.MR Shankar (Onco surgeon).
